This is the community garden I managed in Sydney, formed on an abandoned area of council-owned land overlooking Sydney Harbour.  The garden was built and maintained by a group of local volunteers, with tools and materials funded by North Sydney Council.  We grew both ornamental and edible plants and everyone involved shared in the produce at harvest time.  Check out the BEFORE (technically this was shortly after work had started!) and AFTER pics below.  This project is something I would love to replicate in our local Earlswood community.  If you would like to get involved, please contact me.
